JAMMU, Jan 28: An unidentified man was today found unconscious at Railway Station, Jammu and later he died in a hospital.
“Some persons today morning spotted an unknown man lying unconscious at Railway Station Jammu and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu,” a police official of GRP Jammu said.
He said during treatment, the man passed away after which his body was shifted in mortuary room of the Hospital for identification/postmortem while inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC stands was initiated at police station GRP Jammu.
“The deceased man is about 50 years old, approx 5 feet 7 inches tall and whitish in colour while he is wearing golden coloured jacket, blue trouser and shirt,” the official said, adding, anybody having any clue about the identity/residential particulars of the deceased may contact GRP Jammu on telephone number 0191-2474946 and PCR GRP Jammu Helpline number 1512.
