JAMMU: Union Minister of State for Home, Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, today discussed various issues, including security situation and issues of West Pakistani Refugees at a high-level meeting here. BJP State Office Bearers, MPs, MLAs alongwith State president and MLA Sat Sharma, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas discussed the prevailing situation on borders, progress of various centrally sponsored schemes and ongoing development projects.
The Minister was apprised of the problems being faced by the people residing on borders, who have migrated to safer places due to shelling and firing on civilian areas after the conduct of surgical strikes by India on terrorist launching pads in PoK. (AGENCIES)
