SRINAGAR, Oct 6: Minister for CA&PD and Tribal Affairs Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today chaired a high level meeting with a team of officers from Union Ministry of Food and Public Distribution (F&PD).
Secretary, F&PD, Virinda Sarup, Executive Director (Transport) HQ, Mahinder Kour, Director NFSA, Nilambuj Sharan, were present in the meeting.
Discussions were held on different issues which include 90:10 funding pattern under e-PDS project, funding for modernization of godowns and increasing time period for lifting of food grains for Jammu and Kashmir.
The Union Secretary gave a detailed presentation about the preparedness for the implementation of National Food Security Act (NFSA) in Jammu and Kashmir.
Secretary CA&PD, Sourabh Bhagat, Director CA&PD Kashmir, A.R. War, Director CA&PD Jammu, G.S. Chib and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
