United Peace Movement condemns Rasana rape, murder incident

JAMMU, Apr 21: Jammu-Kashmir United Peace Movement condemned Rasana rape and murder incident.
Addressing a joint press conference, Himmat Singh, Chairman Jammu-Kashmir United Peace Movement and Member Nature-Human Centric People Movement, Babu Singh Founder Natur-Mankind Friendly Global Party, Mohammad Sharif Sartaj, Chairman Jammu-Kashmir Freedom Movement, Jaspal Singh Mangal National Vice President Shiromani Akali Dal Man and Mohammad Rashid Qurashi, Advocate High Court Jammu said that this heinous and inhuman crime has shaken the people of entire Jammu and Kashmir, India and World.
They stated that the Coalition Government after the Assembly and people pressure has hand over the case to Crime Branch, which submitted challan against eight accused before Session Court Kathua.
“As this case is now subjudice, the people are expecting that the justice will be done at the earliest”, they said and demanded fast track trial of this case.
They appealed to the people of all walks of life to unitedly launch campaign for justice to Rasana victim and all other rape and murder victims.
“Keeping in view, the glaring incidences of such nature of heinous crimes, the Movement is going to organize one day conference on Justice for Rasana rape and murder victim and stop crime against minor children and women expectedly on April 29 at Jammu from 10 am to 2 pm”, they informed.
