SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah on Friday called for unity to defeat the alleged conspiracy by communal forces to fiddle with the demography of the Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking to number of delegation here, the National Conference (NC) president Dr Abdullah, MP, said the State is caught in a tempest and that the need of the hour called for unity.
“The Sole agenda of the communal forces is to fiddle with the demography of the State”, he alleged. However, he said, “if we strike unity within us, our enemies won’t be able to get an upper hand over us.” (AGENCIES)
