JAMMU, Apr 25: The dead body of an unknown woman was recovered in suspicious circumstances from Trikuta Nagar area.
According to a police official, an unidentified female body with a scarf around his neck was recovered yesterday from a nallah near Joggers’ Park in Trikuta Nagar area. He said the body was without clothes.
“The body has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem,” a police official said. He said apparently it is a murder case but as of now we have initiated inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC at police station Trikuta Nagar.
