JAMMU, July 11: The dead body of an unknown man of age about 58 years was recovered today from Ranbir Canal in Canal Head area near Rajinder Park.
“The body was spotted at about 6 PM today by some boys bathing in the canal. They informed the police which reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College, Jammu for identification/postmortem,” a police official said.
He said inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated by police post canal road.
