JAMMU, Jan 22: The dead body of an unknown man of age about 45-50 years was recovered today from a ‘nallah’ in Shastri Nagar area.
“An information was received this morning that an unidentified male dead body is lying in a ‘nallah’ near Cremation Ground of Shastri Nagar,” a police official of police post Digiana said. He said a police team was immediately sent to the spot which shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem.
The official said that inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection by police post Digiana.
