KATHUA, June 6: An unidentified man died after hit by Rajdhani Express at Km 50/2 under the jurisdiction of police post GRP Hiranagar.
“The mishap occurred yesterday after which the dead body was shifted to SDH Hiranagar for postmortem/identification,” a police official said, adding that the deceased is about 38-39 old, 5 feet 4 inches tall and wearing a multi-coloured Lungi. He has round face and black complexion, the official further added.
He said in this regard, inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC stands initiated in police post GRP Hiranagar. “Anybody having any clue about the identity/residential particulars of the deceased may contact GRP Jammu on telephone number 0191-2474946, mobile numbers 9622360149 and 9858680765 and PCR GRP Jammu Helpline Number 1512,” he added.
