SAMBA, Apr 7: An unknown man of age about 40 years was killed after falling from a moving train in the jurisdiction of Police Post Vijaypur.
The man fell from Pooja Express 12414 (DN) at Km 73/10-12 and received serious injuries, police sources said. Incharge Police Post Vijaypur ASI Jaswant Singh along with the officials of GRP Vijaypur rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to the EHC Vijaypur, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to District Hospital Samba for postmortem/identification,” sources said while adding that the deceased has round face with beard, wheatish complexion and is wearing white shirt and grey pant,” sources said.
