JAMMU, Dec 22: The dead body of an unknown man was recovered today beneath the main Tawi bridge.
“At about 3 pm, an unidentified male of age about 35 years was found under Tawi bridge near Mandir-Masjid point,” a police official said. He said the body has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem.
According to the official, the deceased man is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weatish in colour, bearing black beard and wearing grey trouser, pink & black check shirt, two navy blue jackets and Black woollen cap.
“Any information regarding the identical and residential particulars of the deceased may be communicated to police station Nowabad on telephone number 0191-2565274 or PCR Jammu on 0191-2542000,” he added.
