JAMMU, Mar 4: An unkn-own man of age about 50-55 years was today found in unconscious condition in Jewel area and later he died in a hospital.
According to a police official, an unidentified man, who appeared to be a ‘Sadhu’ was found in unconscious condition near Jewel Chowk, this afternoon. On getting information, Nowabad police immediately shifted the man to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he passed away at about 4 PM.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification/ postmortem”, he said, adding inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated in this connection at police station Nowabad.
