JAMMU, June 28: An unknown man was killed in a hit and run case in Kaluchak area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, an unknown male pedestrian of age about 40-45 years sustained serious injuries late last night when a rashly driven unknown vehicle hit him at Kaluchak.
The grievously injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification/post mortem”, the spokesman said, adding, a case FIR No 45/2017 under Section 304 A RPC has been registered in this connection at police station Gangyal and investigation started.
