JAMMU, Apr 28: Unnat NGO today organized an embroidery workshop in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Nardi, Akhnoor and imparted the training of making embroidery in different ways to female students.
The program was presided over by Sudarshan Kumar Abrol, President of Unnat NGO. Addressing the staff and students, Sudarshan Kumar Abrol said that their NGO has been imparting training to youth for skill orientation and making different types of things for the last one year.
He further informed that in the first year, the NGO taught children and other people to make candles inspiring them to start their own work. “It is a matter of immense satisfaction that some people have made candles and are sending them in the market to earn money,” he added.
General Secretary of Unnat, Neena Abrol said that they got the opportunity to come to teach children how to work for making embroidery in different ways. She further said that for the last one year, their NGO has been getting full support from every school for this purpose.
She expressed her gratitude to school management for giving them the opportunity to impart skill development training to students.
Among those present on the occasion, include executive members Dr Anuradha (Treasurer), Sunita Muthoo, Kanchan Sharma, Preety Gupta, Lata Rani, Isha, Nidhi and others.
