JAMMU, Mar 23: Yudhvir Sethi, vice president, Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reiterated that the BJP Government is specially committed to development of every nook and corner of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir as it has suffered a lot due to onslaught of terrorism for the past over three decades.
He said that the people of this Union Territory are themselves witnessing a mega transformation on ground in terms of unprecedented development.
He stated this while chairing a meeting at Panchayat Ghar Aithem. The meeting was arranged by Sarpanch, Shobha Rani Aithem and Naib Sarpanch, Sham Singh.
Yudhvir Sethi interacted with Sarpanch, Naib Sarpanch, Panchs and the residents of the area. They apprised him about their multiple problems in general especially the basic and essential civic amenities in the area.
They said that in view of the Summer already on the threshold, there is a dire need to address the drinking water and power supply issues.
Addressing the gathering, Yudhvir said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government is fully committed to the welfare of the people of the nation especially the common people. He said that the incumbent BJP Government has the distinction of having brought multiple schemes to ensure social security of one and all across the nation meticulously tailored to benefit every section and people can avail the benefits under any scheme which they feel is best suited to them.
While enumerating, he asked the people to avail benefit of Modi Government’s flagship schemes.
Sethi reiterated that the BJP Government is committed to development of every nook and corner of the UT. He said that BJP has changed the development scenario of Jammu and Kashmir and asked the people to support the party for overall development of the area.
The senior BJP leader, assured the people that their water and power woes will end soon in the coming days. He took the water scarcity issue with the Chief Engineer who assured to address shortage of potable water crisis shortly.
