UP Minister invites Sant Samaaj, Hindus from J&K to Kumbh Mela

JAMMU, Dec 29: Announcing that this time Kumbh will be a master piece of “Astha” (faith) and management, Uttar Pradesh, Transport Minister, Swatantra Dev Singh invited people from all walks of life to join the congregation to be organized in 2019 at Triveni Sangam of Prayag Raj in UP.
UP Minister, who is on the tour of the State to take the message of UP, Chief Minister, Yogi Aditya Nath to every corner here earlier held a meeting with the BJP State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul, BJP State general secretaries, Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi and senior BJP leaders at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar. Afterwards, he met with Mahamandleshwarm Rameshwar Dass, Mahamandleshwar, Ram Swaroop and other prominent faces from “Sant Samaaj” at Purani Mandi Mandir, here where he appealed the Sadhu Samaj to join this years Kumb Mela on the invitation of UP CM .
He said this time elaborate arrangements have been made by UP Government for visiting pilgrims who after participating in this great religious event will also pay obeisance to divine powers for restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
BJP State secretary, Arvind Gupta, State office secretary, Tilak Raj Gupta, district presidents, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Ayodhya Gupta, Brijeshwar Rana, Omi Khajuria and Jangbir Singh were also present in the meeting.
Swatantra Dev Singh, while addressing the media persons, said that this is very first time that an official invitation has been sent to the “Sadhu Samaaj” and other prominent social and political personalities from all around with such dedication. He said that Chief Minister, Yogi Aditya Nath is himself taking all the measures for the smooth and successful conduct of the whole Mela. He also informed that he will meet State Governor, Satya Pal Malik tomorrow and extend him an official invitation for participation in the Kumbh Mela.
He apprised that the prominent faces from UP will visit every State of the country to invite all sections of society to the great congregation of faith. He said that the prominent persons from around 117 countries will visit the Mela to take holy bath and seek blessings of the Almighty. The Kumbh will be celebrated in the “PrayagRaj” from January 15 to March 4, he informed.
Commenting on the world class arrangements in the Kumbh Mela, the Minister informed that this year, every care has been taken to ensure the comfort of the pilgrims visiting to pay their obeisance in the holy waters. He said that these places have been linked to the faith of the Hindus for the millenniums and it is rather an issue of joy and pride that we have got the opportunity to host the visitors from across the globe.
