Upgrading human resource only solution to illiteracy: Vibodh

RAJOURI, May 29: In order to boost the morale of Government Schools, Member Legislative Council (MLC) and State Vice President of BJP Advocate Vibodh Gupta today visited Government Girls High School Muradpur and honored a student who had secured 80 percent marks in Class 10th exams, the result of which was declared by J&K State Board Examination.
Advocate Gupta along with Chief Education Officer Rajouri Abdul Hameed Fani visited the institution and honoured a girl namely Sanjna Sharma, daughter of Satpal who secured 80 per cent marks in recently declared class 10th result.
While speaking, Vibodh highlighted that the need of the hour is to upgrading the human resource and infrastructure in the Government institutions across the State which according to him is the only solution to remove the darkness of illiteracy to its maximum extent.
He stressed that the State Government must give maximum emphasis on the development of girl child and it must gear-up the centrally sponsored schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi like “Beti Padao, Beti Bachao” vigorously in every district and block of the State.
Gupta further said that Modi Government at the Centre and BJP-PDP Government at State have taken education on priority and both Governments are working to boost Government schools. He said that Modi’s vision of boosting these schools is bearing fruit as Government schools have also started showing good results.
Terming it a changing scene of Government schools, Vibodh said that this girl has not only brought laurels for her parents and schools but has become an example for all schools of Pir Panjal area.
He further asked the Education Department to start a State wide campaign so that the poor people living in the remote villages and areas of the State would get maximum benefit of this scheme.
Among others present were Atam Gupta, Sarpanch Muradpur, Bau Ram Sharma, Sarpanch Bathuni, Balbir Rattan, Ranjet Tara, etc.
