JAMMU, July 5: Tarun Uppal, Chairperson Nirbhay Bharat Foundation has advised the youth to be job providers instead of being job seekers. He stated this after inaugurating Heaven’s The Makeover Studio (Unisex Salon) here at Digiana today.
He complemented Sonu Taneja, Sheetal Rakwal and Arif Khan, the proprietors of the enterprise for taking this initiative to become Self Reliant (Aatma Nirbhar) and creating employment opportunities for others also.
Emphasizing that the current scenario demands that time has come for the Indian youth to bring in an attitudinal shift in their mindset, Uppal said that instead of wasting time in seeking jobs, the youth must prefer to become job providers and the best way to accomplish this aim is to set up their own business establishments as per their capacity and local conditions of the areas in which they are living.
He said that by becoming entrepreneurs they will be augmenting the Government’s initiatives to end unemployment by creating job opportunities for those seeking jobs.
The NBF chairman asserted that the youth cannot afford to remain dependent on Government jobs which are quite limited. ” In such a situation I advise them to take novel initiatives and avail opportunities provided under various schemes launched by the Government from time to time,”.
Referring to J&K youth of the Union Territory, he said they are full of talent and potential and second to none in this country, the only need is to exert and explore alternative avenues in business sector especially in tourism and allied ventures, etc. and become Aatma Nirbhar (Self Reliant) in true sense.
Uppal wished the proprietors of Makeover Studio (Unisex Salon) namely Sonu Taneja, Sheetal Rakwal and Arif Khan unprecedented success in the venture besides a smooth journey towards Aatma Nirbhara. He hoped that the newly inaugurated establishment will be a model for other youth to follow.
