JAMMU, Oct 15: Raipur Domana constituency have two Thather chowks known as Upper Chowk and Lower Chowk Thather. Today prominent people of Raipur Domana rename the Upper Thather Chowk as ‘Kailakh Chowk Upper Thather. On the occasion Karnal Singh Rakwal and Devi Singh Rakwal said Thather is in revenue records the land of Rakwal Rajput Biradhari . This was the long pending demand of people who reside in Thather area that the chowk be renamed as Kailakh Chowk.
Yuva Rajput Sabha president, Surinder Singh Gilli was the chief guest during the function held in this regard.
Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust president, Mahant Rohit Shastri said Bawa Kailakh Dev Ji is the Nag Devta and all communities pay obeisance to the Kailakh Dev Ji and with the decision people are quite happy.
On the occasion, Devi Singh , Surinder Singh Gilli, Askar Ali,Master Farooq, Nadan Singh, Rakwal, Shabil Singh Rakwal, Gulam Rasool, Vicky Singh, Sher Singh, Yash Seth, Bushan Singh, Subash Verma,Rohit Seth were also present.
