Apropos (D E, May, 9 2016) Retired IAS officer passes away after spending glorious, honest and upright 101 years of life journey. Only Karma yogi’s are blessed to witness and enjoy over hundred springs on this mother earth. I have a personal experience of Lala Dwarka Nath Gupta’s utter sincerity and guts that he exhibited while placing his voice in favour of deserving candidates with merit irrespective of region, religion or caste, ignoring backdoor instructions, when he was member J&K Public Services Commission during 1971-72.
May the departed soul rest in peace.
