NEW DELHI, June 28: Urad and its dal prices moved up by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on increased demand from retailers.
Marketmen said increased demand from retailers amid lower arrivals from producing belts mainly supported the upside in urad and its dal prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local gained Rs 50 each to Rs 5,300-5,700 and Rs 6,500-6,700, while urad dal best quality and dhoya traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 6,750-7,350 and Rs 7,000-7,400 per quintal respectively.

Masoor small 5,150-5,350, bold 5,150-5,450, Dal Masoor local 5,900-6,000, best quality 6,000-6,100, Malka local 5,700-6,000, best 5,900-6,000, Moth 4,000-4,300, Arhar 4,300-4,400, Dal Arhar Dara 5,500-5,800.
