Urad, its dal trade higher on scattered demand

NEW DELHI, Dec 28: In restricted activity, urad and its dal prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on scattered demand.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said scattered demand against tight stocks position mainly helped urad and its dal prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,800-4,600 and Rs 5,300-5,500 and urad dal best quality and dhoya traded higher by the same margin to Rs 5,500-6,100 and Rs 5,800-6,200 per quintal respectively.

Urad 3,800-4,600, Urad Chilka (local) 5,300-5,500, best 5,500-6,100, Dhoya 5,800-6,200, Moong 5,800-6,300, Dal Moong Chilka local 6,400-6,800, Moong Dhoya local 6,600-6,700 and best quality 7,200-7,300.
Masoor small 4,100-4,350, bold 4,300-4,400, Dal Masoor local 4,900-5,000, best quality 4,950-5,050, Malka local 4,950-5,050, best 5,150-5,250, Moth 4,200-4,500, Arhar 3,900-4,200, Dal Arhar Dara 5,600-5,800.
