JAMMU, Feb 24: Department of Cardiology, Government, Medical College, Jammu today held a day long workshop in complex PCI and Endovascular Procedures at Super Speciality Hospital, Jammu. This was sixth of its kind of workshop conducted at Department of Cardiology SSH, Jammu
The workshop was conducted by leading faculty Dr. Raj Dave (MD, FACC, FSCAI) Chief Medical Executive, Holy Spirit Cardiovascular Institute, Chairman, Department of Cardiology – Director Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories Pennsylvania-USA along with Dr. Sushil Kumar Sharma, Head Department of Cardiology Govt. Medical College, Jammu.
The workshop was organized to keep abreast with the latest in intervention cardiology particularly in field of endovascular interventions.
Dr. Raj Dave is a high volume operator in USA and expert in Advanced Endovascular and Coronary Intervention. Dr. Raj Dave displayed his expertise in this field according to latest interventional trends and patients from Jammu shall be highly benefitted by his skills.
Dr. Sushil Kumar Sharma has been organizing workshops in different aspects of intervention cardiology and Department of Cardiology is already doing high volume intervention work.
The workshop helped the Department for enhancing the skills in field of intervention and endovascular procedures.
