CAIRO, Dec 31: US and UK warplanes again struck the province of Al Hudaydah in western Yemen, which is partly under the control of the Shia movement Ansar Allah (Houthis), a source in the local government told RIA Novosti.
“American and British fighter jets carried out two raids on Ansar Allah movement facilities in the Al-Faza area in the At-Tuhayta district in the south of Al Hudaydah province,” the source said.
Al Hudaydah, from where the Houthis launch missiles at Israel or send drones to attack ships in the Red and Arabian Seas, has already been bombed several times in the past few days. Last week, Israel also struck the port of Al Hudaydah, a power plant in the province, and the Ras Isa oil port in northwestern Yemen. Its strikes killed six people in Yemen and wounded 40. (UNI)
