JAMMU, Aug 20: J&K United School Teachers’ Association (USTA) has criticized the Education authorities for adopting pick and choose policy in the adjustment of newly promoted masters.
Addressing a meeting of provincial committee of USTA held here today, Association president, Hari Singh, strongly condemned the Education authorities for pick and choose adjustment of newly promoted masters from list of order No DSEJ/NG/M?Prom/7255-68, dated February, 11, 2011 and transfers in the department ignoring all those who have rendered and completer their tenure in faraway places and out of districts.
He also criticized the Government for not releasing salary of teachers and masters for more than six months and appealed to release selection grade to trained under graduate teachers.
The Association urged the Government to concede its demands at the earliest, failing which USTA will be forced to come on roads.
