USTA deputation meets DSE

JAMMU, May 8: A deputation of J&K United School Teachers’ Association (USTA) led by its provincial president, Hari Singh, today met Director School Education (DSE) Jammu and put forth the demands of the teacher fraternity.
The demands put forth by the deputation included release of pending salary of teachers or master working under SSA, RMSA, NPS and repatriated masters, suitable adjustment of repatriated masters and transfers of masters and lecturers who have completed their tenure in far flung areas, clearance of pending files of ReTs for regularization, adjustment of all promoted masters and extending senior teacher grade in favour of undergraduate teachers.
The Director School Education gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to resolve all issues shortly.
Rajeev Kumar, Roop Chand, Julfikar Ali Malik, Ganesh Dutt, Shanti Saaroop Sharma, Rattan Chand and many others were part of the deputation.
