USTA submits charter of demands to DSEJ

JAMMU, Apr 27: A deputation of J & K United School Teachers Association (USTA) called on  Director School Education Jammu  and put forth the charter of demands.
In the  charter, the USTA has demanded repatriation of  Masters, Headmasters and Lecturers from Reasi, erstwhile  Doda district and other areas  to their home districts,  transfer of Masters within their own districts, adjustment of  Masters whose DPC was made in February  2014,   transfer policy for regularized ReT teachers, release of the salary and other dues of teachers working under SSA as well as newly appointed teachers,  Senior Teacher grade in favor of trained under graduate teachers, regularization of Lecturers, Headmasters and Principals, filling up  vacancies in rural area schools, no non-academic duties to the teachers and  appointment of  teachers on leave arrangement against female teachers who proceed on leave.
The Director gave a patient hearing and assured to redress the demands in her competence at an earliest.
The  deputation comprised of Rajive Kumar, Dr  Shashi Pal, Shanti Saroop Sharma, Raj Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Roop Lal, Surinder Magotra, Ganesh Dutt, Madan Singh, Joginder Kumar, Rakesh Gupta, Ashwani Jandial, Saithu Paul and  Sansar Singh.
