USTA takes up demands with DSE

JAMMU, May 24: J&K United School Teachers Association ( USTA) delegation today met the Director School Education (DSE) Jammu, Ravinder Singh and projected their demands before him.
The delegation led  by provincial president,  Hari Singh discussed various burning issues of the teaching fraternity  and sought the intervention of the director. The major issues projected included  transfer of over stayed  masters, lectures  and teachers;  framing of transfer policy for RET teachers, release pending salaries of SSA teachers, release arrears of regularized RETs,  holding of DPC of all cadre,  deputation of  untrained graduate and post graduate teachers for B. Ed training, enhance salary of RET teachers from Rs 3000 to Rs 18,000 per month, regularization of all RETs whose cases are pending, appoint sweepers in all schools, release mid-day meal charges from Sept 2016 till date, adopt uniform examination system for Govt and private institutions etc.
The Director listened to their issues patiently and assured to take action in this regard.
