LEH, May 16: Government today accorded sanction to the constitution of UT Level Steering Committee (UTLSC) on Energy Transition in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
According to the Order, Advisor to LG Ladakh will be chairperson of the UTLSC while Administrative Secretaries of Housing & Urban Development Department, Industries & Commerce Department, Health & Medical Education Department, Public Works Department, Power Development Department & NRE (SDA), Agriculture & Horticulture Department, Animal Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Department, Transport Department, Rural Development Department and Tourism Department shall be its members.
Moreover, Chief Engineer, SDA (Power Development Department) will be convener of the committee while Project Director Leh & Kargil Renewable Energy Development Agency shall be its member(s).
