Utterbehni villagers’ plea to LG

JAMMU, Dec 17: The inhabitants of Utterbehni, Mari Khul, Sadral and Bara Khetar have brought to the notice of Lieutenant Governor a number of problems and demands of these areas.
In a memorandum submitted to the Lieutenant Governor during his visit to the area recently, the villagers through Shrikant Sharma, Senior Baridaar and former Sarpanch of Utterbehni have brought to the notice of Government that there is no proper bathing arrangement at Utterbehni as such a water reservoir on the pattern of Darbar Sahib be created.
They have also demanded renovation of old bridge connecting two ancient holy places—Utterbehni and Purmandal, stadium in the area, upgradation and cementing of Bundh around the village at Utterbehni as many a times flood water enters the village causing losses to the public property and construction of zoo in the area.
