As per a news report published in Daily Excelsior dated November 30, 2019, there are 131 PWD Subdivisions, 32 Divisions headless and 250 posts of Junior Engineers- JE(s) Civil lying vacant in J&K PWD Department.
In this regards, it is expressed that in the absence of the Heads and the vacant posts of JE Civil, these PWD Divisions are suffering very much besides the common masses.
In the above context the personal intervention of the Lt. Governor UT J&K and UT Ladakh is sought to direct the concerned authorities of the PWD Department to make necessary arrangements for providing heads to these PWD Subdivisions and Divisions respectively and to fill up the vacant posts of JE(s) Civil at the earliest in the best interest of the common masses.
