JAMMU: The chopper service to Mata Vaishno Devi holi Cave Shrine today remained suspended for the fifth consecutive day due to foggy weather condition from Katra base camp in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The chopper service remained suspended since October 5 due to dense fog and cloudy weather conditions prevailing all around in the Trikuta Hills, an official said here today..
The service will resume only after the weather conditions will improve.
In view of heavy rush of pilgrims in Katra town due to ongoing Navratras, pilgrims, especially the aged and handicapped were facing hardships due to suspended helicopter service.
