KATRA, July 19: A woman pilgrim of Mata Vaishno Devi died after she was hit by a pony near Sanjhichhat while on way to the Bhawan, late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Jaswinder Kour (50), wife of Raj Pal Singh of Moga in Punjab. She fell on a stone after being hit by a pony at Lambi Keri, near Sanjhichhat around 1 am last night and sustained critical internal injuries.
She was immediately shifted to Adhkuwari dispensary where doctors referred her to CHC Katra. However she succumbed to her injuries after some time.
