KATRA, Oct 8: A Vaishno Devi pilgrim died after he fell into a deep gorge adjoining track while on way to the holy shrine, here today.
The deceased, identified as Devinder Yadav (24), son of Devang Singh Yadav of Gulati in Madhya Pradesh, slipped into the gorge adjacent to Lambi Gheri track near Adh-kumari and sustained critical injuries.
Even as police shifted the injured pilgrim to hospital, doctors declared him as brought dead.
