Valediction of ‘SBI Youth for India Fellowship’ held

JAMMU, Nov 5: State Bank of India (SBI) Youth for India Fellowship-2020-21 valediction was held at SBI’s Learning and Development Institute, Panchkula.
On this occasion, fellowship certificates to 95 SBI fellowship awardees were given.
The SBI Youth for India Fellowship involved work in social 13 months in rural areas across the country.
The Fellowships are awarded every year by SBI Foundation to selected candidates from all over India.
On this occasion Manjula Kalyanasundaram, Managing Director, SBI Foundation congratulated the Fellows who successfully completed the Fellowship programme and said that they should work to take the rural society forward in their future life and cooperate in progress of the country.
Chief General Manager, SBI Chandigarh Circle, Anukool Bhatnagar was special guest who while addressing the gathering said, this Fellowship provides an opportunity for the educated youth of the country to make them aware of the ground realities and encourage them to contribute towards building a strong and united society.
Addressing the Fellows present at the beginning of the programme, Director of the Institute, Preeti Sharma said: “In SBI, we firmly believe that progress of rural sector is the real progress of the country.”
