Various institutions celebrate Republic-Day

JAMMU, Jan 27: Various institutions celebrated 72nd Republic Day with traditional fervor and patriotism amidst hoisting of the National Flag and taking salute.
The High Court Wing of Jammu celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervor and high enthusiasm. Chief Justice High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Justice Pankaj Mithal, unfurled the National flag and took salute from Jawans of paramilitary and police at Jammu Wing of the High Court. The police band of Jammu and Kashmir Police played various tunes of patriotic songs.
Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Sindhu Sharma, Justice Rajnesh Oswal, Justice Vinod Chaterjee Koul, Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Puneet Gupta and Justice Javed Iqbal Wani besides officers and officials of Registry and Judicial officers of District Court Jammu also participated in the celebration.
Advocate General, Additional Advocates General/Deputy Advocates General, Senior Advocates, members of Presidium alongwith other members of the Bar Association Jammu were also present during the celebration. Secretary, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs was also present.
In connection with Republic day celebration, a grand function was also held at J&K High Court premises Srinagar. On the occasion, J&K High Court Judge, Chairman Juvenile Justice Committee (JJC) High Court of J&K, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey unfurled the National flag and took salute at the March Past.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary, senior functionaries of Judiciary and others, besides officers of Police and CRPF were present in the function.
Tri-colour was also hoisted at the premises of several Government offices including office of the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir and Civil Secretariat.
At the Divisional Commissioner office, Additional Div Com, Tasaduq Hussain Mir, unfurled the tricolor and took salute at the March Past.
Similarly, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at Civil Secretariat, Srinagar. On the occasion, Additional Secretary Social welfare Department, Khurshid Ahmad Sanai unfurled the national flag and took salute at the March Past.
Additional Resident Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir, Neeraj Kumar unfurled the National Flag on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day at J&K House, New Delhi. A contingent of J&K Armed Police presented the guard of honour on the occasion.
The officials of J&K posted at New Delhi attended the event. Among others Dushyant Kumar Rai, Media Consultant to Lieutenant Governor and other officers and officials were also present.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board celebrated the occasion at Katra wherein CEO Shrine Board, Ramesh Kumar hoisted the tricolour and took salute from the contingents drawn from J&K Police, CRPF, NCC and school children.
A cultural programme based on the theme of patriotism and national integration was also presented by the school children on this occasion. Vimal Indu, President, Municipal Committee, Katra; Vivek Verma, Additional CEO, SMVDSB; Hem Kant Prasher, Chief Accounts Officer; Dr Sunil Sharma, Dr Jagdish Mehra, Deepak Dubey and Vishavjeet Singh, Dy CEOs Ashok Kumar, SDM, Katra; Amit Bhasin, SP, Katra; and Jitendra Kumar Gupta, Commandant, CRPF 6th Bn were present on the occasion.
J&K Bank CMD, R K Chhibber unfurled the national tricolour in the lawns of J&K Bank Zonal Office, Jammu in presence of a large gathering of bank staff to celebrate the 72nd Republic Day. Director on the bank’s board, Vikram Gujral, was the guest of honour on the occasion. The attendees included various police and bank officers and police.
On the occasion the security guards of Paragrene Security agency presented the Guard of Honour. An impressive cultural program was also presented at the function. Chairman Grameen Bank, Sudhir Gupta, Vice President & Zonal Head Udhampur, Susheel Gupta, Vice President, Anand Pal Singh and Vice President & Zonal Head Doda Vibhakar Khajuria also graced the occasion.
The Republic Day was also celebrated in the premises of the J&K Bank Zonal Office, Kathua, where the National flag was unfurled by Zonal Head, Jammu Central 2 Kathua Ashutosh Sareen followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
Police Academy Udhampur celebrated Republic Day 2021 with great fervour and enthusiasm. Director Police Academy Dr S D Singh Jamwal (ADGP) unfurled National flag and took the general salute of the parade contingents. Gathering of the staff of SKPA Udhampur, their children and the trainee officers of SKPA Udhampur was approximately 1000.
While addressing on the occasion, Dr Jamwal congratulated the police officers, staff, trainee officers, families of police personnel, respectable citizens and children of local area on this occasion. He also interacted with the trainee officers and children on this occasion.
72nd Republic Day was celebrated at PTTI Vijaypur with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. SSP Rajinder Kumar Gupta, Principal PTTI Vijaypur, presided over the function and hoisted the National Flag in presence of SP Rajinder Singh Rahi, Vice Principal; Dy SP Satish Kumar, (Admn/Outdoor), Prithipal Singh, Sr.PO (I/C Indoor Faculty) and staff/trainees of PTTI Vijaypur.
During the function, contingents of Police personnel/trainees held March Past. The Parade was led by Inspr Anil Sagar (RI/CDI) as Parade Commander and ASI Shiv Ram (SM Outdoor) as 2nd in Command. A colourful cultural programme was also organised in which trainees of PTTI Vijaypur presented various items.
JKAP 7th Battalion celebrated Republic Day at Battalion Hqrs APC Channi Himmat Jammu. The Flag was hoisted by Suneel Raj – Commandant JKAP 7th Battalion, who also addressed and highlighted importance of the day.
All Jammu based units and establishments of CRPF celebrated Republic Day with full zeal and fervor. P S Ranpise, IGP, Jammu Sector, hoisted the National flag in CRPF campus, Bantalab, Jammu. On this occasion all the Officers and Jawans of J&K Zone, Jammu Sector, Composite Hospital, Range Jammu, Group Centre, Arms workshop-04, B/5 Signal Bn and B/76 Bn CRPF were present.
Apart from this, Varun Vaid, Asst. Comdt of AWS-04 CRPF Bantalab, Jammu was also honoured with “DG’s Disc and Commendation Certificate”. Subsequently, the Chief Guest and Gazetted Officers also distributed sweets among all Subordinate Officers and Jawans. The programme was organized under the leadership of Rajendra Prasad, DIGP and also attended by P C Gupta (Commandant), Rajesh Kumar (Dy Comdt), Sumit Verma (Dy Comdt.), Varun Vaid, (Asst Comdt.), Rajesh Kumar (Asst Comdt/Min.) and others.
NHPC Regional Office, Jammu celebrated Republic day with great enthusiasm and happiness in the office premises, wherein Rajan Kumar, Region Head, Jammu unfurled the National Flag.
The event was also attended by Ramesh Kumar, GM(C) and other senior officers and employees, Security personnel and supporting staff of NHPC.
Dulhasti Power Station celebrated Republic Day with full patriotic fervor and zeal. Nirmal Singh, General Manager (Incharge) unfurled the national flag in a function organized at Administrative Building premises of the Power Station. He then inspected the Guard of Honor of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) contingent.
On this occasion, employees of Dulhasti Power Station presented various patriotic programs. Further, the General Manager (in-charge) distributed prizes. Dr Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services), Suresh Kumar, General Manager (Electrical) and Senior Officers & employees of Dulhasti Power Station along with Commandant, CISF and Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya were present at the function..
Chenab Valley Power Projects celebrated Republic Day and the main function was organised at Corporate Office, Jammu. A K Choudhary, Managing Director, CVPPPL hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. He desired that the employees should dedicate themselves for timely completion of the projects.
Republic day celebration functions with full enthusiasm were also held at Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar HE Project sites.
On the occasion of Republic day celebrations, a grand function was held in the premises of Old Secretariat, Srinagar where Vice Chairperson, J&K Khadi and Village Board(KVIB), Dr Hina Shafi Bhat hoisted the Tricolour and took salute at the March past presented by the contingents of JK Police and CRPF.
Dr Hina Bhat also gave away mementos and certificates to the best performing districts and KVIB unit holders of Kashmir division. Among others, officers of KVIB, JK Police, and CRPF besides unit holders from various parts of Kashmir Valley attended the function.
Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal unfurled National Flag in the premises of Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir to commemorate the day.
The Director in his address expressed pride in the rich cultural heritage of the country. He urged officers/officials to work with honesty and dedication for the welfare of the farming community. The function was attended by senior officers/officials of the department.
The Tricolour was unfurled at Directorate of FCS&CA Jammu in the presence of Director, Jatinder Singh to mark the celebration of 72nd Republic Day. All the staff members of the directorate, including Deputy Directors Narinder Kour, Javed Iqbal, Chief Accounts Officer Deepika Sharma, Assistant Directors of Jammu districts Vipan Bhagat, Mohammad Sageer, Sonam Verma were present.
The Jail authorities at District Jail Rajouri celebrated the 72nd Republic day with the inmates. The National flag was hoisted by the Superintendent and the guard of honour was presented by the CRPF personnel. Sweets were distributed among the jail inmates and staff.
Republic Day was also celebrated in District Jail Kathua wherein Superintendent Jail, Rajni Sehgal hoisted the National Flag. All the Prison officers, officials and CRPF personnel of 121-Bn F-Coy District Jail Kathua were present on the occasion. A colourful cultural programme was also presented by the jail inmates and sweets were distributed.
The Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour by Indian Army and civilian population at various places in Rajouri and Poonch districts. Army Units in conjunction with various schools and civil administration organised numerous events to instill a sense of pride in the local populace as Indian Citizens. The functions were organised at various schools at Darhal, Mooie Mohra, Pine Wood School, Sabra Mendhar, Army Goodwill School, Potha and Govt Model High School, Palma. The celebrations witnessed hoisting of the National Flag and reciting of the National Anthem alongwith conduct of cultural programmes by the school children.
The local Army unit celebrated Republic Day also with the children of Bal Ashram at Manjakote in Rajouri District. The celebrations were attended by 40 children and staff with great zeal and enthusiasm. The festivities started with flag hoisting followed by speech glorifying the efforts of drafting committee for making the permanent Indian Constitution, National Integration and the role of Indian Army in maintaining peace and harmony in the region.
Republic Day was celebrated at District Police Lines Rajouri where Rajesh Kumar Shavan, Deputy Commissioner unfurled the National Flag and took the salute in the presence of Th Sher Singh, Additional DC; Chandan Kohli, SSP and other district officers and senior officers from the Para Military forces.
The contingents comprising of JKAP, CRPF, JK Executive Police, JK Police Band besides students from various Government and private schools took part in the march past lead by Zaheer Abbas, Deputy SP. A Contingent of students of Pahari Hostel, Rajouri won the first prize in the march past.
Republic Day was celebrated with fervour and gaiety at Deputy Director Prosecution Office, Kathua. Flag hoisting was done by Pawan Khajuria, Deputy Director Prosecution, Samba Kathua. A gathering e comprising of Satish Sharma PP Kathua, Vikrant Sharma, Addl PP Kathua, Javed Khwaja PP Samba, Manmohit Sharma Assistant PP, Anil Saini Assistant PP Samba and other Assistant PPs of District Samba and Kathua, office staff, police staff besides civilians from adjoining locality were present on the occasion.
Directorate of School Education Jammu celebrated Republic Day by unfurling the National flag on the office building.
