Various organizations appeal LG to revive tourism in Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, June 24: Various organizations have appealed to the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to revive the tourism in Bhaderwah.
Addressing a joint press conference here, various organizations including Travel Trade Tourism Association, Hotel and Guest House Association, Beopar Mandal, All Taxi Association and Adventure Wing Association jointly appealed to administration to take quick measures to revive tourism sector in Bhaderwah.
Imityaz Butt President Beopar Mandal said that Bhaderwah tourism has been suffering since three years and administration is not doing any efforts to bring tourism back on the tracks.
Tariq Choudhary President TTTA Bhaderwah in his address said that all the hotel and guesthouse owners are suffering due to financial inefficiency to pay their EMIs as there is no business due to present circumstances. He appealed to the Government to come up with a common minimum plan for revival of tourism in Bhaderwah.
Moshin Ganai President All Taxi Union said that all the taxi and local cab operators have been suffering a lot and are incapable to repay the bank loans of their vehicles.
They appealed to local administration to setup mobile test booths at various spots and allow people to visit after their rapid COVID test at entry spots which in turn will help the test ratio hence giving a little hope to the tourism industry and its stakeholders to revive. They further demanded immediate appointment of new CEO BDA on urgent basis.
