JAMMU, Apr 27: Padams-hree Er. S.P. Varma Chairman YHAI J&K State Branch Youth Hostels association of India J&K State Branch flagged of Motocycle expedition to Kanya Kumari from Jammu.
A total number of 12 motorcyclists on 10 motorcycles from Karnataka State Branch of Youth Hostels led by A.N. Vijendra left for Kanyakumari.
The motorcyclists reached Katra by train and after darshan of Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi ji they left for their expedition. They will travel more than 300 kms a day.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Varma said that the expedition have Nobel aim to aware people about the importance of water preservation, water harvesting and for promoting universal brotherhood. He appreciated the Karnataka people for their efforts to promote awareness about social causes. He said this shows the unity of India.
