JAMMU, June 7: Dr Varun Suthra, Secretary International Relations to Member of Parliament, Dr Achyuta Samanta, attended the 26th International Gathering in Berlin that was held in Parliament of Germany at Berlin.
The aim of the conference was to deepen international relations through personal encounters while considering together questions concerning human beings’ responsibility towards the planet. Dignitaries who attended the gathering included current and former Members of the Parliament of Germany and State Parliaments as well as friends from Germany and abroad from the fields of politics, economy, and society.
Katalin Novak, the President of Hungary, was the chief guest and key note speaker on the occasion. She stressed upon the need of compassion among the world leaders during her address. She shared her views and ideas about the ongoing international affairs and their impact on nations.
Dignitaries from various nations expressed solidarity towards the victims of ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Various leaders urged that individuals and authorities must unite in extending all help to the refugees and those in need. The four key breakout sessions included Hope for South East Europe, Hope for Africa, Hope through development cooperation and Hope through spiritual freedom.
Other important dignitaries who attended the conference, included Bernd Rutzel, MP Germany; Anja Karliczek, MP, Germany; Katrin Goring, Deputy Speaker of German Parliament; Andreas Jahn, Chief of the Staff , German MP; Volkmar Klein, MP Germany; Dmitar Tashev, MP Bulgaria and Prof Margaret Kamar, Deputy Speaker of Senate of Kenya.
