VBSY campaigns reach hundreds of new Panchayats across J&K

JAMMU, Dec 12: As part of the nationwide campaign to spread awareness about different schemes launched by the Government of India, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) reached hundreds of new Panchayats across Jammu and Kashmir today.
Secretary Tourism and Culture, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, led the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Boniyar Subdivision of Uri area in Baramulla District, which was participated by Sub Divisional Magistrate Uri, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and other senior officers besides PRIs and people from neighbouring villages.
During the event, Dr Syed Abid inspected various stalls set up by different departments such as Health, PDD, Agriculture, ICDS, Eduction among others, showcasing an extensive array of government schemes, services, and facilities available for the public’s benefit.
Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Vikramjit Singh, along with Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, attended a mega event organised as part of ongoing “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” at Siot block in Rajouri District.
Under the initiative, mobile vans laden with Information, Education and Communication (IEC) material, created public awareness about a myriad of Central Government schemes. With a sound system and digital LED screen on board, the van showcased videos of Prime Minister’s addresses, testimonials from beneficiaries and informative clips.
In Jammu District’s Khour Block, the yatra was organised under the guidance of Preeti Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development Jammu and under the overall supervision of Dheeraj Sharma, Block Development Officer Khour (Nodal Officer VBSY Block Khour).
The yatra visited Government High School Kotmaira Lower and Government Middle School Sarmala Panchayat Kotmaira Pahariwala Upper of Block Khour, where it was welcomed by the Vice Chairman DDC Jammu, Suraj Singh, along with other dignitaries and officials.
In Samba District’s Panchayat Channi Manhasan in Block Vijaypur, Panchayat Rajpura in Block Rajpura and Panchayat Paper Avtara in Block Nud, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra engaged with communities.
Locals and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) warmly embraced the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van, expressing wholehearted enthusiasm for the initiative. Residents seized the opportunity to listen to the Prime Minister’s messages through the IEC Van and actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Pledge.
In Reasi District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, continued to make strides in facilitating public welfare. The specially designed Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van reached Kyala Suketar, Shadole, Bangankote and Dhansal today, marking another milestone in its mission.
This campaign has become a beacon for the community, providing essential services and disseminating crucial information about various Government of India initiatives tailored for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra made its mark in Panchayat Mohalla and Dhalkhankote, within the precincts of Block Gundna, District Doda as it orchestrated a camp to promote implementation of key government initiatives.
The PRI members, frontline workers, and the local community warmly greeted the teams during the event. The officers and officials from the relevant department actively engaged with the locals and delivered varied services.
Taking off with the arrival of the IEC Van, the event unfolded with the screening of an introductory film, followed by the Viksit Bharat Pledge by the participants.
The yatra traversed across 12 Panchayats in Udhampur District under the vigilant guidance of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai.
The day unfolded with the arrival of the IEC Van, setting the stage for an inaugural movie screening and the administration of the Viksit Bharat Pledge, embraced with enthusiasm by participants in these Panchayats.
In Kathua District, the yatra van traversed through Marheen and Bani Panchayats. The public outreach campaign touched Chak Gopala, Chak Bhagwana, Devochak, Haripur, Fatehpur, Sitti, Sandroon, Kardoh, Lahri, Banjal Bhatwal, Bhatodi, and Sadrota-A.
The VBSY Van, a mobile unit carrying the essence of the development journey, screened a special video message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing his vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) visited four Panchayats of block Batote amid huge public participation to sensitize the people, besides saturating the Centrally Sponsored Schemes across the Ramban District.
IEC Vans accorded a rousing welcome by PRIs, senior citizens, youth, and local residents on its arrival in four Panchayats under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary and engaged with knowledge enriching audio-video material screened on screening system and special IEC Vans.
In Poonch District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) expanded its reach to Panchayats of Hari Budha, Gunthal Upper, Gagrian, Bhatidar as per notified schedule.
During the event, representatives of various line departments were present to explain the procedures for availing benefits from government schemes and programs aimed at public welfare. The attendees received informative pamphlets and brochures, and their queries were addressed by the departmental representatives.
In the video message, Prime Minister Modi urged citizens to take a pledge to work collectively for the progress and prosperity of the country.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) covered 8 more panchayats today at Pulwama, bringing together communities to engage in various activities, reinforcing the commitment to a developed and united Nation.
Throughout the day, various activities took place, including cultural programs that showcased the rich heritage of the region. The overarching theme, “Viksit Bharat,” underlined the commitment to developing a prosperous and flourishing Nation.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is witnessing a massive turnout of people in frontier Kupwara District making a transformative impact.
More than 93, 532 people have participated in the programme which was kick started in the district on Nov 21.
9 Panchayats of Block Kralpora of Kupwara district were covered today under VBSY which included Aloosa, Batpora A, Batpora B, Kralpora A, Kralpora B, Kralpora C, Dardepora-D, Dardepora E and Dardsun A.
With this, 241 Panchayats, out of total 385 Panchayats of the district have been covered till date under VBSY.
All Panchayats where VBSY was organized today presented a festive look with huge crowds thronging the venues of VBSY for instant enrollment in Government Schemes.
In Ganderbal District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) covered 6 more panchayats of Block Ganderbal where people welcomed the yatra with enthusiasm amid huge participation.
The Panchayats that were covered today include Gutlibagh, Urpash, Tullamulla-C, Tullamulla-D, Nagbal and Darend.
Various departments had set up camps to provide on-the-spot services and information to the people in these Panchayats.
The event also featured various cultural and educational activities besides health check-up camps were also organised, where allopathic and Ayurvedic medicines were provided to the people.
In a remarkable journey of transformation and empowerment, the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ has been weaving inspiring stories across the picturesque landscapes of District Anantnag.
The initiative focused on creating a platform for individuals and groups to share their journeys, challenges, and successes, fostering a sense of community pride and motivation.
The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) expanded its reach to 8 more panchayats of block Pombay and Behibagh in Kulgam to spread awareness and ensure the delivery of Government flagship schemes.
The panchayats covered under the Yatra include Aadigen, Gopalpora, Ladgoo Ramhama, Mirhama, Pombay and other panchayats of Behibagh.
In the district, the yatra unfolded as a testament to the commitment to rural development. Each day brought forth a new chapter in the narrative of progress and development.
