JAMMU, Jan 14: Through the myriad of benefits being provided under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes, the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has been continuously empowering citizens across Jammu and Kashmir.
In Srinagar, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) today extended the reach of VBSY by hosting series of events at Tarabal in Government High School Narwara.
The gatherings served as a platform for officers and officials from various departments to engage with the local community, fostering an environment of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Representatives from diverse departments elucidated the fundamental goals and procedural details of their respective schemes, aiming to bridge the information gap and to ensure that citizens are aware of the myriad benefits and assistance available to them.
The campaign has been leaving an indelible mark on Pulwama District, pushing beyond the geographical boundaries to herald a new era of holistic progress. There, the yatra reached five additional villages, reinforcing its commitment to universal inclusivity.
The community’s enthusiastic participation underscores its success, with beneficiaries sharing compelling stories of transformation under the banner of “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani.”
In Anantnag District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra transcended mere statistics, weaving a captivating tapestry of transformed lives. At its core lies the distribution of Ayushman cards, an initiative offering comprehensive health coverage of Rs 5 lakhs per family per year.
This deliberate effort not only fortified health infrastructure but also empowered individuals and families, fostering a resilient and healthier community.
The yatra unfolded stories like that of Abdul Razaq Dar, a labourer whose life changed after an eight-year struggle with knee pain. Through Ayushman Bharat, he underwent a life-changing knee replacement, expressing gratitude for the newfound ability to stand on his feet.
