JAMMU, Dec 30: In a concerted effort to enhance community well-being and propel developmental initiatives, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has reached various districts in Jammu and Kashmir, leaving a positive impact on local communities.
As part of the campaign, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) orchestrated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Rawal Pora and Hyderpora, emphasizing the delivery of essential services to local communities.
The event featured ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ where beneficiaries shared life-changing experiences. Free health check-ups, Aadhar card registrations, Ayushman card generation, and sign-ups for Government schemes were made available, ensuring easy access to vital services.
District Pulwama achieved a significant milestone with the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reaching Kakapora.
The local community actively participated, turning the event into a joyous celebration.
Majid Khalil Ahmad Draboo, Controller Legal Meteorology J&K, ADDC Pulwama, and District and Sectoral officers contributed to the success, guiding citizens on availing Government schemes.
Jhelum Town Verinag in Anantnag District witnessed an overwhelming surge of enthusiasm as the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra drew enormous crowds.
Dr Showkat Ahmad Bhat, Chief Executive Officer, engaged with residents during the ongoing yatra, meticulously assessing the impact of Central Government Schemes.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Kathua District garnered an enthusiastic response across Panchayats in Kathua, showcasing its commitment to rural development and community empowerment.
The outreach initiatives resonated deeply, fostering active engagement and participation in the movement for holistic development.
VBSY gained momentum in Rajouri District, implementing various Government schemes and promoting comprehensive development.
The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van effectively communicated and raised awareness about Government initiatives, reaching multiple Panchayats in the district.
In the vibrant Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Samba District, the inspiring journey of Koushalya Devi took center stage.
Faced with medical challenges and financial constraints, Koushalya’s story underscored the real impact of the initiative. The event highlighted the resilience and survival of individuals facing health crises.
Municipal Council Ganderbal (MCG) extended the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra to four more wards, demonstrating a commitment to community development.
The DDC Ganderbal, Shyambir, presided over the main event, inspecting departmental stalls showcasing citizen-centric beneficiary schemes.
In Kishtwar District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van reached Tipri Panchayat of Block Bounjwah, sparking an overwhelming response and heightened community engagement.
The initiative aimed to foster awareness about various Centrally Sponsored Schemes, leveraging a display of the Prime Minister’s messages on LED screens.
