VBSY reaches more panchayats across J&K

JAMMU, Jan 15: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a pan-India initiative aimed at promoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047, continued to make strides in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Yatra reached various panchayats and districts, fostering awareness about Government schemes and garnering support for the nation’s development.
In Panchayat Sureychak of Mandal Phallian in Jammu District, the VBSY van, adorned with the Prime Minister’s message, was warmly received by the Swagat Committee and Panchayati Raj Institutions.
Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma was present during the event, where the local community pledged to contribute to India’s development by 2047.
Similar enthusiasm was witnessed in Surankote area of Poonch District, where Prabhari Officer, Government of India, Mushtaq Ahmad presided over a VBSY program at JNV.
Various Government departments showcased schemes, and beneficiaries shared success stories under the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” session.
In Srinagar’s Shahr-e-Khaas, Secretary, Youth Services & Sports, Sarmad Hafeez, participated in a mega event organized under VBSY.
The public engaged in discussions about Government programs, and the gathering was made aware of centrally sponsored flagship schemes.
Commissioner Secretary, FCS&CA, Zubair Ahmad, visited Bandipora, assessing progress on various beneficiary-oriented government schemes. The Yatra aims to ensure the last-mile delivery of government schemes, promoting socio-economic development.
The VBSY extended its reach to Lamberi Upper, Lamberi East, Prat, Marchola, Bambliya, Thangriote, Seiya, and Devak of Lamberi, Sunderbani, and Siot blocks of Rajouri District, showcasing a mobile Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van to empower local communities.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav, conducted a thorough review of the ongoing VBSY, focusing on achievements and challenges.
The IEC VAN successfully reached 116 venues, with an emphasis on health camps and the distribution of Ayushman Bharat Sehat Cards.
Led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the VBSY in Ramban District garnered substantial participation, reaching panchayats and towns, and providing a platform for beneficiaries to share success stories.
In Udhampur District, the Animal Husbandry Department conducted an awareness camp as part of the VBSY, highlighting beneficiary schemes and urging farmers to maximize government benefits for income enhancement and employment.
