JAMMU, Dec 29: The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has emerged as a beacon of Government’s commitment to development and citizen welfare.
Government officials and representatives from various districts across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir today participated in different programmes organised as part of the yatra, reflecting on the success of the ambitious campaign.
Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Secretary, Tourism and Culture, during the concluding programme of VBSY in Kupwara District, emphasized the town’s natural beauty and the intellect of its people.
He expressed optimism that Kupwara would stand out for its scenic splendour.
Commissioner Secretary Prerna Puri actively participated in the VBSY at panchayat Sahar of block Kathua. Beneficiaries shared success stories during the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” session, highlighting the impact of Central Sector Schemes.
Puri praised the initiative’s success in touching over 200 panchayats in Kathua, aiming to saturate all schemes on a mission mode.
Commissioner Secretary Saurabh Bhagat presided over the valedictory ceremony of VBSY in Budgam District, commending the District Administration for conducting successful events across all 296 panchayats.
He highlighted swift infrastructure development under different sectors, ensuring fast-paced progress throughout the district.
Inspector General Registration, Sheikh Arshad Ayub, actively joined the VBSY in Qazigund, Anantnag.
Engaging with local residents, Ayub assessed the impact of Central Government Schemes, spotlighting the tangible success of initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Mission Director Dairy Development, Narinder Singh Bali, presided over an impactful VBSY in TRC Kishtwar. The event garnered participation from local PRIs, district officers, and the general populace.
The Yatra commenced with the welcoming of the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van, playing a crucial role in engaging with local communities.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra gained momentum in Rajouri District, driving the implementation of various Government schemes and comprehensive development. An IEC van played a crucial role in effectively communicating and creating awareness about Government initiatives, reaching underserved areas and improving the lives of residents.
Deputy Commissioner Shyambir launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Programme in Municipal Council Ganderbal.
The three-day event featured screenings of the PM’s message, awareness programs, and cultural folk dances. Various department stalls, including Health, Handicrafts, and Horticulture, showcased their contributions.
The Srinagar Municipal Corporation extended the reach of VBSY to Natipora and Budshah Nagar, fostering community engagement and development.
The camps provided a vital platform for officers and officials to interact closely with the local community, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Panchayat Rarri in Samba District hosted a grand Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra with enthusiastic participation from locals and PRIs.
The initiative aimed to inform and empower citizens about flagship schemes and programs, with the people of Rarri pledging their commitment to the vision of a developed and prosperous India.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra culminated in Bhanore area of Block Mahanpur today. The campaign, under the guidance of DDC Chairman, Col Mahan Singh, has been instrumental in showcasing the effectiveness and the transformative potential of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary schemes.
