JAMMU, Jan 23: In a sweeping endeavor, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has traversed the length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir, leaving an indelible mark on the districts of Rajouri, Pulwama, Srinagar, Anantnag, and Ramban.
Commissioner Secretary, Tourism, Yasha Mudgal, joined the Yatra in Bijbehara, Anantnag, engaging with locals to assess the impact of Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
Emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, she highlighted the Yatra’s role in fostering development, promoting engagement with Government schemes, and achieving saturation under citizen-centric programs.
In Rajouri District, the Yatra strategically navigated through various panchayats, including Sagote, Dalhori, Dalhori Salyote, Dhangri Upper, and the Gambir Muglan areas.
The meticulous journey emphasized the Yatra’s commitment to extending Government initiatives to every corner, ensuring grassroots impact.
In Pulwama, the Yatra seamlessly threaded through Panchayats, Municipalities, and villages, embodying a commitment to inclusivity and comprehensive development.
Leveraging Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) vans, the Yatra conveyed the Prime Minister’s vision directly to the people, fostering awareness and engagement.
The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) extended the VBSY, hosting events at Soura and Habak Zakura.
These gatherings facilitated collaboration and knowledge exchange, with representatives from various departments elucidating the objectives of Centrally Sponsored schemes, bridging information gaps, and ensuring citizen awareness.
Led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary in Ramban, the Yatra gained momentum, witnessing remarkable participation.
Covering the entire district, the Yatra became a powerful platform to inform people about various government schemes, celebrating Ramban District’s diverse heritage through cultural programs.
