VC JAKFED calls on Anurag Thakur, discusses youth affairs

New Delhi, Feb 5: Vice Chairman, JAKFED Munish Sharma called on the Member of Parliament, Anurag Thakur here, today and discussed wide range of issues related to unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir with him.
He urged Thakur to take up the issue of special recruitment job opportunities for J&K’s professional graduates, diploma engineers graduates etc. with Government of India so that they get chance to serve in the best of Corporate Sector of India. He also urged him to pursue the Government to provide scholarship to the candidates who pursues some professional courses.
Complimenting to Ministry of Home Affairs for initiating Udaan Scheme in J&K, Vice Chairman said that through Udaan it gave the unemployed youth of State an opportunity to exhibit their professional abilities scripting into a success story. Udaan provides a framework of support to the youth of J&K to travel, undergo training in firms to work.
During their hour long meeting, Vice Chairman urged  Member of Parliament to sort out the ways so that the schemes are implemented in a better way and encourage some top corporate houses from various sectors including Finance, Tourism, Human resources, Construction, Automation and Information Technology, etc to travel to J&K and identify youth for skilling as the J&K State possess the rich talent.
Vice Chairman further said that flagship scheme need better salary structures and more counseling and handholding as the low package is sheer injustice and devaluation to those candidates’ who have highest qualification and work experiences.
Thakur promised his full support and assured the Vice Chairman to take up the matter personally with the highest authority and solve at the earliest. He complimented Sharma for strengthening the youth affairs in J&K State which will benefit the State youth in coming years. Thakur further said that Center is running Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana Centers in the J&K State which is doing well under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who believes in the mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Policy.
