JAMMU, Oct 16: Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Prof Akbar Masood released a remarkable faunal booklet titled “Pictorial Guide to the Birds of BGSBU Campus.”
The booklet is authored by Dr Sajad Hussain Parey, Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at BGSBU and Sayed Attiq Ul Hassan, MSc Student Dept of Zoology.
This guide showcases a comprehensive collection of 44 bird species that inhabit the sprawling BGSBU Campus. It not only introduces readers to these avian inhabitants but also provides valuable insights into their common names, scientific nomenclature, and essential ecological notes.
The release of this booklet signifies a commendable effort in advancing the understanding of the avian diversity within the BGSBU Campus.
