JAMMU, Dec 3: Prof. B. N. Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-Jammu called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan, today.
Prof. Tripathi discussed with the Lt Governor various issues of academic and administrative importance. He also apprised the Lt Governor about his recent visit, accompanied by Deans of faculties of SKUAST Jammu, to various universities in Australia.
The Lt Governor asked the Vice-Chancellor to explore potential collaborations in academic initiatives, student and faculty exchanges, research partnerships, and joint research projects focusing on key areas.
Meanwhile, a joint delegation of PRI members and Yuva World Brahman Federation J&K headed by Advocate Daksheesh Sharma called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
Vibodh Gupta, former MLC also called on the Lt Governor and put forth several issues of public importance of Rajouri area.
Balwant Singh Mankotia, former Legislator apprised the Lt Governor of various development issues of District Udhampur.
Later, a delegation of Janipur Market Association led by its President, R C Bali, on behalf of the residents of Janipur Colony, submitted a memorandum of issues and demands to the Lt Governor.
Keshav Chopra, Chairman Samvedna Society also called on the Lt Governor.
