VC SKUAST-K calls on Governor

SRINAGAR, July 10: Dr. Tej Partap, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kashmir, called on N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
Dr. Partap briefed the Governor, who is Chancellor of SKUAST (K), about the outcome of the recent exercise to conduct admissions to the under-graduate and post-graduate wings of the University.
The Governor also asked the Vice Chancellor about the to-date position regarding the establishment of KVKs, particularly at Shopian and Nyoma and about the initiatives taken at Zanskar and Changthang. They also discussed other important issues relating to enhancing the teaching and research capacities of the varsity for developing it into a centre of excellence.
