JAMMU, May 31: Viklang Chhatra Trust (VCT) has urged upon the PM Modi to introduce a provision under which there should be suitable representation of Divyangs in each House of the Parliament and State Legislatures so that this community may raise issues related to their problems.
In a handout Satya Pal Saraf, Organiser VCT stated that there is absolutely no representation of Divyangs in Parliament and State Assemblies despite the fact that there is about four crore population of Divyangs in the country.
He also said that no political party has ever allotted a seat to such person as these people are neither financially sound nor physically fit to launch campaign for fetching votes to such parties because they are physically too weak.
